Andrea Peters
With her color-saturated bold strokes, Andrea Peters captures the essence of Maine’s four seasons — —spring wildflowers, summer gardens, autumn forests & sunsets, and the stark beauty of the ocean in winter. Oil paint is her favorite medium.
Her work has graced the cover of an LL Bean catalog and her story has been told on the pages of DownEast, the magazine of Maine. A long time resident of East Boothbay, Andrea attended Vesper George School of Art, Massachusetts College of Art and studied under the tutelage of respected marine painter, Roger Curtis. Her paintings are included in the permanent collection of the Farnsworth Museum, New Britain Museum of Art and The Hoyt Institute of Art.
