One of the extraordinary features of this large, handwoven Beni Ouarain rug (aside from its sheer beauty) is its 'reversibility'. As a summer rug, the flat pile side is up and in winter just flip it to the dense, thick, high pile side. Woven by Berber women in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, Beni Ouarain rugs are among the most popular and are recognizable for their creamy white wool with traditional black and white diamond motifs.
