Texas Kingfisher Rides the Minnow

From northern South America up to Texas and New Mexico, the feisty Green Kingfisher will hover and dive. This time, she's landed on a fish, not necessarily for a meal. Prawns and insects are good too

Poplar is cut and shaped on the band saw, then further refined on the belt sander, and hand sanded. Paint is latex enamel and acrylics.
