Near the market town of Taznakht in the High Atlas Mountains, the skilled women weavers of the Ait Ouaouzguite tribe create some of the most stunning flatweave kilims in all of Morocco. The artisans often choose a multi-colored palette while weaving individual designs within each color block. 'Alia' is a large masterwork of technique and motif. Fully reversible.

Materials: Sheep wool w/ cotton warp thread

Care: Professional cleaning recommended or spot clean with cold water  

Note: Vacuuming is not recommended. Best to shake out rug outside. Once the kilim is unfolded and on a floor, the fold lines will flatten and gradually disappear
