Moroccan Taznakht Rug 'Kaia'

Moroccan women weavers in the Taznakht region  south of Marrakesh are renowned for their mesmerizing  'wave' motifs in harmonious palettes. The name 'Kaia' in Arabic means ocean or sea. This beautiful reversible kilim is woven in rich but muted tones of deep blue, cream and brown. Both ends are finished w/ two solid border stripes in complementary shades of orange and blue with short, knotted tassels on one end.

Care Instructions: Spot clean with cold water or have professionally cleaned. Center crease caused by folding will relax and disappear once it's laid flat. Rug pad recommended
