Swallow Bowl

A dramatic, large, hand thrown porcelain bowl depicting swallows in flight, Lansing uses the sgraffito technique to carve the realistic images in cobalt blue slip on a hand thrown form before the bowl is bisque fired, then fired again with a transparent glaze.
